Participation

The COMPUTEX d&i awards 2019 invite manufacturers, designers, sales representatives, importers and distributors in the Information Communication Technology industry to register to compete in this year's awards. Entries should demonstrate an exceptional level of innovation and design quality.

There is no limitation to the number of entries per contestant. However, the products and contents submitted must not violate the patents and protective rights of other parties, and the organizers assume no liability for any such violations.

Submitted entries could include products, applications, projects, communication or services. Entries must be less than two years old at the time of registration. If entries are not yet implemented, they must be realized or published in 2019.

To take part in the COMPUTEX d&i awards 2019, all entrants must accept our general terms and conditions.

Fees

All listed fees are as net payments, subject to an additional 5%VAT.

Submission fees will cover the expenses of the jury services for the selection and review. Invoice for the submission fees will be issued and mailed out after the submission deadline, April 24. After the submission, you will be required to do the payment regardless of whether you finally submit the product to participate in the competition or not. Refunds will not be issued for applications withdrawn after submission.

Entries awarded the " COMPUTEX d&i awards" will receive the package of "Winners Service" package. All winners must participate and accept the service package. The fees for award winners will be issued after May 23.

Jury

First-Round Selection:Participants are required to upload all the required information to the registration system. Registration will be reviewed by the judging panel consisting of industry experts and investors, academics and supervisors of the Asia-Pacific Industry Analysis Association of Taiwan.

Second-Round Selection (Final):After passing the first-round selection, the qualified participants will be classified into 2 categories, the "general enterprise" and "startups,” for this phase of the review.

During this round, the participants have to present the product in English to the jury by demonstrating the product or service. The jury panel will make a decision based on the presentation and the submitted materials. For those who are unable to attend this session, the use of teleconference or video recording may be permitted.

This round consists of 7-10 international professional jurors, including IT industry experts, internationally renowned IT media representatives, and international venture capitalists.
